The freedom to live and choose to live the way we want, and that just kills you because all your side preaches is your way or the highway, and I'm here to tell ya,that's not how it works in America. I guess you might be right, Joe. I think it is un-American to force me to buy insurance and un-American to force me to support freeloaders who prefer to collect Food Stamps, Welfare and and enjoy Free Housing - though they are capable of working.Yep, I'm un-American because I see bowing to foreign leaders and apologizing for being great as wrong. And you all preach about the constitution, well Thomas Jefferson once said,sometimes political reality trump political theory, and this from the man who wrote the Declaration of Independence. Most of our fore fathers would be appalled by the modern conservative movement! Like it or not President Obama did what was needed to stop us from free falling into another Great Depression. If he would of listened to you, maybe with a hope and a prayer things would of fixed themselves; wait a minute, I know,the super rich would of stepped in and saved us, YEAH RIGHT!!!!! Get off your high horse, unemployment would be over 15 to 20% without current policies. The economy is creating jobs and the projected deficit was down 8%, it's just about the Republicans regaining power!

I didn't know you did hallucinative drugs! In some states the unemployment rate, including those who have given up looking for a job, is over 15 percent. I will cede that the economy is creating jobs - almost as many as are being lost. But then again, they are government jobs, not private sector. And wow - what a claim about the projected deficit - the highest ever. I guess it is a good thing that is is down 8 percent.

And if they do, it sounds great, repeal health care, a government shutdown, and tax cuts for the super rich( who by the way create zero jobs).

Can you quote what bill any Pub in Congress has proposed that will reduce taxes on the "super rich"? Of course you can't because there is no such animal. Oh, wait - you must be talking about allowing previous tax cuts to expire.

Only Obamanation would dare to claim that maintaining the status quo is a tax cut and that not allowing it to continue is not a tax increase.

One more question, Joe. How many poor people, those who have no money have created any jobs except for perhaps police officers?

I just dont agree many of your views but I do respect them....except one. Abortion. You may view it as a choice or freedom of choice. I just plan out view it as murder. A fetus is a life. No one can tell me otherwise.

Show me any proof Obama, Nancy and Harry saved us from a Depression! You cannot do it. The Dems make this claim, knowing it cannot be disproven but also knowing there is no proof that a depression would have happened. Oh, I know - passing the stimulus would keep the unemployment rate under 8 percent. What is it now? 9.6 percent you say? Yep, that proves their policies worked just as they said.

And yeah, Cap and Tax would be great - not. Well, okay, if you would love to pay $4 for a loaf of bread, a monthly utility bill of $1000 (for a three bedroom, well insulated house in a mild April).

You just don't get it. My brother is in the construction trade. Non-union, but makes a decent wage, enough to allow him to buy a piece of vacation property on a lakefront and a camper to park there. No complaints from him - he is happy to work for the wage his boss pays. But... he loves those Prevailing Wage jobs. Why??? Because he doesn't have to do a single solitary thing differently (except sometimes he cannot help out another person in a pinch) but makes about $6/hr. more.

How many more jobs could be completed for the same amount of money if prevailing wages did not have to be paid? Or how much could taxpayers save? Wait - you don't seem to care about more jobs - just protecting unions.

As our esteemed man in blue has pointed out, Obamanation is trying to claim that if the Bush tax cuts are not allowed to expire, thus causing a massive tax increase on everyone, Obama is trying to call it his tax cut! What a baffoon. If taxes do not go down from what they are now, it IS NOT a tax cut

The only thing I will say about that is the democrats should grow some balls and pass everything by a simple majority. And if the country doesn't like it, then vote them out! 53% of the country voted for Obama and he did what he said he would do. Bush never came close to that number and look what we got from him. The winning party should be able to implement their agenda and if it doesn't work then vote them out. Like it or not Obama saved us from another depression. But that's what you want anyway, survival of the fittest. Sounds real American to me. Don't worry soon there will be no middle class and China will be the new America and we'll be a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY!

There you go again. Until Kennedy died, the senate was filibuster-proof so Congress could pass anything it wanted to, including the HC plan. Had the Pubs had the members to sustain a filibuster, this albatross would have sunk like a rock.

Yeah Mike and what's the difference if he veto' everything, compared to what the Republican have been doing for two years. You can't get anything done if the Senate filibusters everything. This President won fair and square and should of been given a chance. You can't fix 8 years of damage in 2 years. I can't wait to hear you all cry if your side wins in november and nothing still gets done!
