They dont come to Hartwell because the number of people who turn out to vote in this district are very low...stinks huh?  I dont blame them, plus I dont want to see them only at election time anyway...

It must be the economy or something else I cannot explain. Has anyone else noticed the lack of campaign ads this year? I'm talking about TV, radio, newspaper and billboard - the amounts of ads seems to be maybe 10 percent of what it was two years ago. If it wasn't for the casino/gambling ads, one would think we are in the middle of summer as far as elections are concerned.

It's not just ads, but also, living in the city (Cincy), I have yet to have a single council candidate visit my house or even drop off any literature. And I don't see many signs up. Talk about "your" vote counting, this year it looks like someone might get elected by a one-vote margin, as in 1-0.
