Gee Mike, you said the same thing his father did   Wink   I just know a lot of the boys have been doing the same workout for months now and some of them were hit pretty hard after some of the workouts in the heat.  I guess that is why more men coach than women do...use moms worry too much.

Dawn,

There's nothing wrong or dangerous about working in the heat we had last week. If someone is use to sitting around in AC playing video games all day - yeah, they are going to find it rough. Jeez, when we were young adults, we put in hay working next to a tin roof in a brn with no circulation and a machine that made sure you moved the hay fast. We drank lots of water or tea.

Okay...I dont want to start a war here but I have some seroius concerns about the kids running in the heat we just encountered.  I was told by my sons father "we survived it" but I dont see the benefit of a good work out when kids are puking for the rest of the day and night and too sick to eat.  I am not trying to raise a mamas boy but come on...am I missing something?  I wouldnt even let my dogs stay outside during that heat we just had...
