Light up the Valley --Hartwell 2007

Light up the Valley will take place in Hartwell on Sunday, December 2nd from 6pm-8pm. 
The neighborhood tree will be lit at 6pm...we hope you will join us.

Luminaries will be sold by the Hartwell Boy Scouts Troop #14 at the Hartwell United Methodist Church (on Parkway Circle "aka Circle Churches")
on Nov. 20th from 6:30-8pm, on Nov. 24th @Krogers from 1pm-4pm, Nov 27th from 6:30-8pm and Dec 1st from 1pm-4pm at Krogers.  The luminary kits will be sold for 10 for $10.00.

We encourage all residents to light up their homes that night and line the sidewalks with luminaries.  Take your family our for an evening stroll or join us at the Hartwell Recreation Center for the tree lighting ceremony, carriage rides through the neighborhood, free crafts for the children and a visit from Santa.  The Hartwell Boy Scouts will be serving free hot chocolate and cookies. 

Awards will be given for the Best Decorated house, Best decorated porch and best decorated street. 
We look forward to another great event in Hartwell and hope the rest of the Valley will make sure this tradition is carried on for families for years to come.  This event is sponsored by the Hartwell Improvement Association.
