knuppel2 I havent really thought about that, but at least its a fresh person trying to take on real issues instead of riding water tubes.. I noticed that this thread has been looked at several times. That is good to see it has peoples attention because it is important to know that the firefighters are being attacked for expressing their right to be a UNION. The city hired an expensive law firm attorney to hear each case, and render his determination of the facts as presented by the city investigators, even though the facts they presented are fairytale based. A really good fiction story for all to read. Go to city hall and request a copy of the report, it is filled with all sorts of mystery and intrigue, rumors and conspiracy theory.........

P.S.   Mink for Mayor !!!!!

Has he stated if he will attend a council meeting in person or will he insist the city install cameras and a mic in his house?

dead horse   I have been out of the loop for a while, but wow ! I have been updated on all the current events in the Fire Department. You have got to be kidding me!!!!! This whole computer scandal was to force out those whom the Chief thinks are a threat to his throne. Wow, sounds like someone has INSECURITY issues. But nevertheless, I am devastated that Randy has left, leaving a huge hole that can never be filled. Randy you are a great leader, someone we all have learned from, someone that has earned the respect of his peers through professionalism, leadership, and pride in your department. This whole situation is a tragedy ! Randy I wish you and Venita the best, I know you will move on to something bigger and better, I hope those who created this computer scam enjoyed destroying careers, making extra overtime monies, and understand the rules of KARMA.

As always, The fireman's friend,  Advocate

P.S.   Mink for Mayor !!!!!       Keep Greg Pugh on council !!!!

Jim,

In all my years, I may have met maybe two firefighters who were NOT completely and totally dedicated to their community. I've seen them host events to make money to buy equipment, build ramps for disabled people (on their own time!), work for next to nothing in smaller communities, get up at any hour of the day or night to battle fires in frigid cold or scorching heat.

One fire chief, who will remain nameless once told me fire fighters are fools. I was stunned and asked why. He told me. "Take a look at a disaster scene, such as the Twin Towers. Everyone was running out of the buildings, away from the scene. Fire fighters were rushing into it.

Thank God for you fools!

I have been watching this forum for a while now, and I cant believe that this actually made the forum, but anyway, I would like to correct this article. The firefighter in question has been reinstated due to the misinterpretation of the fact finders report to the chief. This firefighter is and has never been in any trouble of any kind, and its a good thing that this has been corrected. As for ths rest of the article I cannot comment, I can only reaffirm that the Sharonville firefighters are dedicated to their jobs, and their citizens they serve.

Praying Praying   It is another sad day for the fire service in Sharonville. A well respected firefighter has been placed on administrative leave pending an appeal hearing with the mayor. The recommendation from the fire chief is to terminate him. This is the result of the computer investigation that has been looming over the city for the last 11 months, and cost the taxpayers who knows how much ?  Thats a good one to ask ! Did they mention they have a deficit ? At least the fire department does, supposedly it is $700,000.00, how much is the payment on the new fire station ? What a way to cover all the truths, create a scandal to implicate firefighters and then fire them to hide your fiscal irresponsibility. The fire dept is being destroyed.
