These are really simple rules but please abide by them

So far, I have been lucky. There are spammers who operate by joining forums, using fake names and e-mail addresses. They use a computer program, so never really have an idea what they are posting to - they don't care. They either want to promote drugs or porn. Neither one is accepted here. I can ban them (and did in the Hartwell forum) but it's always after the fact.

Two things: if anyone reads a post promoting drugs or other inappropriate ads, please e-mail me. I try to check this forum frequently, but I do have a day job!

Second, if they (the spammers) keep it up, new visitors will have to be approved before they can post. This doesn't take much time unless they try to join at 1:00 am or such, but they will have to click on a link that will be e-mailed to them, meaning no one will be able to join without providing a valid e-mail address.

I'm sure most people who use an alias appreciate staying anonymous, even to the point I cannot tell who they are. And I hate that it may come to this, but I'm not going to allow a bunch of perverts who hide behind the shield of their computer. I hope everyone understands.

1) This is a family forum - if you wouldn't use a word in front of your priest or preacher or you wouldn't want your child to use it at school, don't use it here.

2) No personal attacks. It's okay to post that you feel an official or coach is not doing his/her job. It's not okay to bring up his/her personal life.

3) Keep to the facts. "I heard that such and such did this and that" will result in your post being deleted.

4) Try to use correct punctuation and grammar. Do not use all caps in a reply or a post. That's the same as screaming.

5) When registering a name, do not attempt to use one that is similar to another member's. Your registration will be deleted and you will have to go through the process again.
