New Mexican Restaurant on Vine

While technically in Elmwood Place - I just wanted to note & recommend the new Mexican Restaurant on Vine. It's called Papi's. The owner is a young guy named Ricardo. He's trying hard to establish a nice place in the neighborhood. Check it out if you haven't already! I had Chili Relleno that was muy authetico..... I'm getting ready to go have lunch there right now. Whatever happened to the idea of approaching hispanic entrepeneurs to open Mexican/South American restaurants along Vine to create a restaurant zone/destination? (Sister Ann proposed the idea a couple years ago, but I haven't heard anything about it recently) Sure would like to see something along Vine in Carthage besides yet another used car dealer....We tried to start something with the now moribund Carthage Market, but couldn't get that off the ground for many reasons, too numerous to recount here...Hope springs eternal, though.....
