I'm glad to see that Cincinnati is serious about stopping all the murders, muggings, robberies and all else that makes living here such an adventure.
Arrest all those people inhaling smoke from a cannabis plant. Don't just arrest them, put them in jail for 30 days. There's a lot of empty space there, right.
One can only wonder if our city officials should give up the LSD and other hallucinogens they are using and switch to pot or beer. There are people who are arrested for trafficing in not just pot but coke, crack and other drugs and they seldom spend more than a few hours in the hoosegow. But if you happen to inhale in public, it's hard time for you.
For the record, I do not smoke pot. Not because it is illegal, but because it holds no attraction for me. Neither does whiskey, vodka or other alcoholic drinks other than beer, which I love.
Supposedly, this new law will cut down crime. Yeah, right. Criminal arrests may increase, but somehow I don't think I'll feel any safer knowing that a pot smoker is in jail.
