Nominations for 2008 HIA Board members will be accepted at the April 15th HIA meeting. Also, City of Cincinnati public works dept will be at the meeting to discuss proper trash set out (what items need to be called in ahead of time), who to call when you have problems and also said they would be discussing the new City of Cincinnati recycling programs (they also said they would be bringing the new larger residential recycling bins. Hope to see you there!

I should add that the positions are: President, Vice-President, Cooresponding Secretary, Treasurer, and Recording Secretary. All positions are available for nominations. Those who currently are on the HIA board have the option of running again, but final voting at the May elections decides who will fill those positions.

It is time again to start thinking about Board positions for the Hartwell Improvement Association. Nominations are in April and elections are in May. Only current HIA members are eligible for election nominations. Contact any board member for further information. Thank you.

We will also be accepting nominations for Recording Secretary...we have another person retiring. So, we have Recording Secretary and Membership director positions available. We will also be taking nominations for any new persons who want to run for any other positions on the board. Thanks!

Just as a reminder that the April HIA meeting will be on Tuesday, April 18th at 7:30pm (Hartwell Rec Center corner of Vine & Galbraith). We will have a presentation from O-Dot & ME Companies about the Galbraith Road ramp options. We will also be taking nominations for HIA council members for elections in May. And we will discuss the Great American Clean up. Hope to see you there!

We are also still looking for volunteers for membership & sign in at the HIA meetings and we are expanding the neighborhood events committee. Please contact a HIA council member for more information or email me. Thanks!
