Amazed,

I read the entire report of the consultant - the Village had no choice - period. To wit, Woodlawn provides mutual assistance. A fire alarm went off, Woodlawn responded and was told to wait by a hydrant. When Glendale showed up at the scene, expecting to find Woodlawn there, they were disappointed.

Sharonville showed up on mutual assistance one fire - they refused to participate because the Command and Control wanted them to do something that was too dangerous for even fire fighters

I'm not sure officials from the village being there would have contributed to the discussion. The idea was to explain why the FD was being disbanded, not to discuss if it should be.

I caught the last 30 minutes on the Town Meeting on ICRC...I would not want to be there.  My understanding (please tell me if I am wrong) that the mayor nor any council were present for this meeting.  I am not sure exactly the deal is but it seemed a little "tight" on what was being said by the firefighters and what the chief said or wanted.
Praying for them all!!

What do you think about the decision?
