As we are printing the paper a day early this week because of the 4th of July holiday, some readers will see it before the holiday festivities are over. Today (Tuesday, July 3), St. Bernard will have their celebration, followed tomorrow by Glendale, Evendale, Springdale, Sharonville and Wyoming. Here’s what’s going on where and when:
St. Bernard
The City of St. Bernard invites residents to have fun on July 3. Ross Park will open
at 6:00 pm. There will be rides, food and all kinds of festival-
Evendale
The Village of Evendale will start their Fourth of July celebration with a 10K Run
and 4.5 mile Walk beginning at 8:00 am. The afternoon events include a free pool
games for residents at 2:00 pm. The festival begins at 6:00 pm. They will have a
live band, inflatables to jump and play on and the Phi Lambda Pi’s Kid’s Carnival.
There will be corn hold, split the pot, prizes and food vendors and cold drinks to

Glendale
The Glendale Lyceum and the Village of Glendale will again sponsor a spectacular Rossi fireworks show on Wednesday, July 4th. You are welcome to come to Summit Park to view the fireworks. They ask that you walk in from Sharon as there is very limited parking at Summit. Remember to bring a blanket or lawn chair and no glass products in your cooler! The sun sets at 9:10 and you can expect the fireworks to begin at the optimal time of between 9:50 and 10:00 PM. Have a safe and happy Fourth of July!
Sharonville
At 5:00 pm, the parade will begin at Reading Road and Sharon Road. It will end at Gower Park to begin the festival. The festival includes carnival rides, food booths and live music by Blue Stone Ivory. The awards for the parade winners will begin at 8:00 pm in Gower Park. The Grand Marshall(s)of the parade will be introduced. This year's Parade Grand Marshal(s) is a gathering of young people who were nominated by their schools, city leaders, employees etc to represent the theme which is "Sharonville's Future Leaders".
Elementary student A.J. Kowal will read his patriotic essay. The beautiful fireworks will begin at 10:00 pm and will be Fireworks choreographed to music. This year's theme for the parade is "Old Glory".
Springdale
Hometown Family 4th! Join us at the Springdale Community Center for this great new
event! There will be a variety of FREE family activities for all ages! Feeling
artsy? Join us at 5:30pm for Chalk It Up! -
Beginning at 6:00 pm, there will be free face painters, stilt walkers, jugglers, corn hole, hair painting, air brush tattoos, caricatures, sand art, bounce houses, balloon artist, and a Vietnam Memorial Living Statue (you won't want to miss this!).

Admission is free! Hamburgers, hot dogs, bratts, metts, soft drinks & water are available for purchase. Alcohol will not be available for purchase; however you may bring your own. Please no glass bottles or pets.

Wyoming
This year, the City of Wyoming will celebrate the 4th of July on Wednesday, July 4. The theme for the parade is “Salute to the Red, White, and Blue” with registration on Worthington Avenue in front of the Civic Center beginning at 9:00 a.m. and the parade beginning at 10:00 a.m. Parade will go from Worthington Avenue north on Springfield Pike, east on Wentworth, south on Burns, and west back to the Middle School playground on Worthington Avenue. Children’s games and food will also be available immediately after the parade.
At 7:30 p.m. that evening, there will be a concert by DeJavu with fireworks by Rozzi
at 9:45 p.m. at Oak Park. Parking at Oak Park is limited to emergency vehicles only.
A free shuttle will be available at the front of the high school on Pendery Avenue
and also at the former municipal pool parking lot beginning at 7:30 p.m. Handicap
parking as available at the City Building, 800 Oak Avenue with a golf cart shuttle
